When you defeat Duncan and use the pedestal, you will be teleported to each of your companion's nightmares.
You can now skip the fade and wake up in the real world. Just click on the pedestal and you will be teleported to the Sloth Demon.
If all your companions are rescued, you can click on the pedestal and you will be teleported back to the Circle Tower.
You will then be back in the game and your friends will be back in their real world.
It is not a cheat, it is a gameplay change. If you want to skip the nightmare, you have to use the game as it is.
How do I use it?
It is not difficult to use this addon.
Download the file.
Open it and select the file you downloaded.
Click on the button that says "Install".
After you install it, you will have to restart the game.
How does it work?
This addon is based on the concept of time. When you click on the button, the game will restart and you will be back in the Circle Tower.
